Ultimate, a game often referred to as “Frisbee,” is often looked at as a recreational sport, but it may be a sport that’s coming of age.
Within the last few years, ultimate has gained recognition in Ontario and has made a submission to Sport Canada, hoping to obtain funding.
On Sunday, July 10, 2011, ultimate teams from across Ontario came to Mary Ann Sills Park in Belleville, competing to be one of the teams heading off to the Nationals.
