Minor traffic disruptions in Picton

PICTON — There will be minor traffic disruptions Wednesday around Talbot Street in Picton due to crews removing a sidewalk to replace an aging electrical junction box in the sidewalk.

The turning lane off Picton’s Main Street to Talbot Street could be blocked for several short periods of time.

Crews will be working between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm unless the weather conditions are not suitable. In the event of rain, the work will take place on Thursday, April 19th.

Noise levels will be elevated in that area during the sidewalk removal due to the use of heavy machinery.
