BELLEVILLE – Police are seeking a Belleville man after he failed to pay a large cab fare.
The 37-year old man took a taxi Monday evening from Toronto to an address at Crestview Avenue, near Bridge Street and Herchimer Avenue, according to Belleville Police. The man then left the cab without paying the $480 fare. Police were called, but was gone by the time they arrived.
The same man is wanted on charges of breaking and entering, and breaching the terms of his bail, police say.
