BELLEVILLE – Seventeen nine- to 14 year-old cheerleaders, members of Pegasus Cheer Athletics on Old Highway 2, are getting ready to show off their skills at an international cheerleading competition.

This is the gym’s second year competing after being open for only five years, which started with 30 kids in a church, according to Samantha deHaan, coach at Pegasus. This is the only cheerleading gym in the Quinte area.
