BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police Service [2] is warning of a door-to-door scam currently happening in the area.
The alleged scammers approach homeowners offering duct cleaning services. They reportedly do “little if any work,” according to police, and then leave.
The suspects have been seen driving a red minivan; no license plate information has been obtained.
Police are reminding the public that you should always receive a receipt for services that are completed.
