BELLEVILLE – A Belleville man who has cycled across Canada to spread the message of inclusion is the guest speaker at a Loyalist College Pride Week seminar Wednesday.

Nick Foley will be presenting the seminar, called How Do You Want To Be Remembered? from noon to 1 p.m. at Alumni Hall.

In 2015, Foley, rode his bike more than 8,000 kilometres across Canada, talking to thousands of Canadians about why it is important to create a culture of understanding and acceptance, and to have self-worth, acceptance, and empowerment in different communities.

Foley has also written two books, is the founder of Good Sport [2], and  Move for Inclusion [3] and the co-founder of We Be Us [4] – all of which deal with making a difference by motivating and empowering people to take action.

The main takeaway from the seminar will be that inclusion without bias is how to eliminate hate and discrimination, according Loyalist’s student government, the organizer.

The event is free, but registration [5] is required.

QNet News will cover Foley’s presentation. More to come.
