QUINTE WEST – Quinte West OPP officers, were sent to a Bayside residence in response to a neighbour dispute in progress shortly before noon on November 28.
A 55-year old man was arrested for assault with a weapon. The accused was later released from custody and is to appear in court in January. The victim sustained only minor injuries.
In another incident, a 30-year-oldman was arrested shortly after 7:00 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Lorne Avenue in Trenton.
This led to the arrest and charge of a 30-year-old man for outstanding warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act for possession of methamphetamine.
The accused was later released and is scheduled to appear in court on January 14, 2021.
