Loyalist promotes fair trade

Colleen Ringham, co-ordinator of the continuing education program at Loyalist [left], and Administrative Co-ordinator for Corporate Training, Madeleine Norman [right], check out the hand crafted jewelery at the 10,000 villages Fair Trade Sale.
The sale is at Loyalist College December 7-9, 2011, and promotes fair trade- meaning the creators of these items get their fair share of the revenue.
The Fair Trade Sale is organized by Loyalist’s International Development students. Coffee, chocolate, artisan cheeses, along with hand-made jewelery, Christmas ornaments, and other knick-knacks are all for sale.
