Radio special hosted by third-year journalism students

Radio Doc Special [1]

As part of their course work, radio journalism students in the third year of Loyalist College’s Journalism: Online, Print and Broadcast program were asked to put together a radio documentary.  Three documentaries were done in total.  Trish Allison produced a piece on the revitalization of the Mohawk language in Tyendinaga.  James Bowler used his documentary to look at the case for having the province pay for IVF treatment, and Evan Cooke took a look at the what a hockey team means for the community of Wellington in Prince Edward County.  Those three documentaries were then featured in a half-hour show that aired on 91x.  You can listen to it here.
