BELLEVILLE – Get your parkas out, Belleville: the first big storm of the season is expected to hit tonight.

A low-pressure system from the southern U.S is making its way up into Eastern Canada. Wet snow will be coming in over Lake Ontario, turning into snow overnight and bringing brisk northern winds with it.

The snow is expected to end Wednesday as the storm moves into Quebec.

Visibility is expected to drop considerably as the evening comes, with driving conditions deteriorating quickly.
