Belleville gets ready for another DocFest

By Taylor Broderick [1]

BELLEVILLE – The  fourth annual DocFest is coming back to downtown Belleville this February.

The festival is a three day event that shows over 40 films, including new local documentaries.

“A number of locally produced documentaries continue to be submitted. This is very gratifying and an indication of the community’s support for DocFest,” says the festival’s local film co-coordinator and website manager Joel George.

The Empire Theatre [2] and Centre for the Performing Arts will be hosting the opening gala which features a major music documentary with a follow-up of live entertainment.

Passes for the event include attendance for the Opening Gala and will be sold at a starting price of 35 dollars before Christmas.
