BELLEVILLE – Choral auditions for Mendelssohn’s Elijah [2] will take place Nov. 22 and 23 at Bridge Street United Church [3].
Elijah is an oratorio [4] with orchestra, choir and soloists about events in the life of the biblical prophet [5]. It premiered in 1846.
The auditions for people interested in taking part in the chorus are Nov. 22 and 23 from 2 to 5 p.m at Bridge Street United, 60 Bridge St. E.
The performance will take place in November 2015 as part of the 200th anniversary celebration of Bridge Street United.
