Health-care debate in Cobourg Tuesday night

BELLEVILLE – Federal candidates from the Northumberland-Peterborough South riding are preparing to debate health care in Cobourg on Tuesday night.

The debate is being hosted by the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and will focus on the candidates’ stances on various health issues.

New Democratic Party candidate Russ Christianson,  Liberal Kim Rudd and Patricia Sinnott of the Green party are confirmed to be attending. Conservative Adam Moulton declined the debate.

The debate will be held at the Cobourg Legion, 136 Orr St., from 7 to 9 p.m.
