BELLEVILLE – Oct. 21, 2015: that was the day that Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) visited – via a time machine made out of a vintage DeLorean – to save the world in the hit 1989 movie Back To The Future [3]. When that date actually rolled around this past Wednesday, we asked students at Loyalist [4] whether they had watched the movie and whether they liked it.
The movie accurately (more or less) predicted that in 2015 we would have video chat, big-screen TVs and 3D movies. We’re still waiting for the flying cars, though.
We asked the Loyalist students for their predictions about what the next 25 years will look like.
