BELLEVILLE – Lower Trent Conservation [2] says the remnants of Hurricane Patricia [3] moving into this region could bring flooding.

The conservation authority has released a flood outlook statement. The storm is expected to dump 30 to 50 millimetres of rain in the Lower Trent River watershed region over the next few days.

The downpour is expected to start Wednesday morning and taper off by Friday.

Exercise caution when near waterways, keep children away from running water and avoid using bridges and culverts while the rain is falling, the authority says.
