BELLEVILLE – Jenni Thompson of the Loyalist Lancers [2] women’s basketball team was named OCAA [3] Athlete of the Week following its home opener game against the George Brown Huskies [4].
Thompson scored 26 points, got 15 rebounds, five steals and three assists.
Thompson made her return to Loyalist this season after a two year absence. She played for Algoma University [5] two years ago and took time off to travel before coming back to Belleville.
