BELLEVILLE – The Belleville Weavers and Spinners Guild [2] is turning the historical practice of weaving and spinning into a present pastime.
Members of the group create handmade clothing and other garments that express their creativity. They use traditional means of weaving, sewing and spinning to produce their crafts and offer demonstrations on the process to the public.
The Guild held a sale over the weekend to showcase their work and hope to shine a new light on old techniques.
