BELLEVILLE – A seemingly routine traffic stop turned into a drug seizure for Belleville Police [2] early Thursday morning.
At 1 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on Station Street. The officer noticed a can of beer between the feet of the passenger in the front seat and conducted a further search. The search led to the seizure of approximately seven grams of marijuana.
The three adults in the vehicle were cautioned and released with no pending charges.
