Quinte area sets new record high temperatures

BELLEVILLE —  Wednesday was the warmest Feb. 3 in recorded history.

Temperatures reached 10.8 degrees as of 3 p.m. according to Environment Canada [1] which has been recording daily temperatures since 1935. That mark shatters the previous high of 6.4 degrees set in 1991 [2].

The average high for this day is -2 degrees.
