BELLEVILLE – Marijuana, morphine pills and digital scales were among the illegal items seized at a Napanee home by the OPP on Monday.
Officers with the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau/Drug Enforcement Unit [2] alongside the Napanee OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant [3] of the residence where the narcotics were found. They seized 164 grams of marijuana, 49 morphine pills, 56 oxycodone pills, 28 codeine pills, 10 hydromorphone pills, digital scales and $995 cash.
A 46-year-old woman has been charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking [4], and was also charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime [5]. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing Thursday.
