BELLEVILLE – Tickets are now on sale for Scotiabank’s 12th annual Invisible Ribbon Gala [2]. The event is being held on Saturday, May 7 at the National Air Force Museum of Canada [3] at CFB Trenton [4].
This gala is being held to raise awareness about the role of the military family as they support the troops by “wearing the invisible uniform [5].” The invisible uniform refers to family members who live the military lifestyle, but who don’t wear the actual uniform.
The Trenton Military Family Resource Centre [6] launched ticket sales this week.
People can purchase tickets online at www.invisibleribbon.com, by visiting the MFRC at CFB Trenton, or by calling 613-365-3575.
Early bird tickets are on sale until April 1 and cost $125 each. After this date, they go up to $150 each.
VIP Table packages can also be purchased for $1, 250. These include a corporate name on the table and in the event program as well as eight tickets and eight pre-dinner drink tickets.
Over 50 per cent of this year’s tickets have already been sold.
Last year, this event was sold out two weeks before it took place. The MFRC is hoping to have another sold-out event this year.
