BELLEVILLE – Former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter [2] will make a stop at the Empire Theatre on Nov. 11 during the Canadian leg of his All American tour.

First-year Loyalist student Kiersten Holmes saw Carter, 36, with the Backstreet Boys [3] in Kitchener a few years ago when they were doing a reunion show and said, “the show was awesome.”

“The Backstreet Boys were, like, my favourite,” the 25-year-old said.

When asked about whether she had tickets she said she was still debating whether to go, given how many times she has seen them live.

Andy Forgie, promotional manager at the Empire Theatre, couldn’t say how many tickets have been sold. “Sales are strong…though [are] not yet sold out,” he said.

Tickets range from $44 to $114. VIP tickets are also available and allow fans to meet and be photographed with Carter, among other perks. VIP upgrades start at $229 and can range up to $983, and can be purchased through Carter’s website [4].

This won’t be the first time Carter has performed in Belleville. His last performance was in November 2011, also at the Empire Theatre, in support of his I’m Taking Off [5] solo album.
