BELLEVILLE – The doors of Belleville’s new Shorelines Casino [4] are open.
A long line of people waited Wednesday afternoon to be the casino’s first customers once the doors opened at 5 p.m. They were rewarded with gifts and champagne.
The casino features 450 slot machines, table games, an entertainment area and a restaurant.
An opening ceremony took place at 4:50 p.m. That was preceded by a media tour giving reporters a look at the facility and its amenities.
