BELLEVILLE – A downtown improvement update, the Belleville Senators [2]‘ fan club and Canada Day funding discussions will keep Belleville council busy at its meeting Monday afternoon.
The chair of the Belleville Downtown Improvement Area [3], Dwane Barratt, will be speaking about upcoming appointments and activities for the BDIA board.
The executive members of the Belleville Senators fan club [4], Gina Giouroukos, Ellie Guenette and Jason Easton, will be sharing information on the club’s work to support the city’s new American Hockey League [5] team.
Funds for the city’s Canada 150 [6] celebration will also be finalized, with a total of $100,000 coming from three different city funding accounts.
Also on the agenda are sewer inspections on Cedar Street [7], a new Zamboni [8] for the Yardmen Arena [9], and the rehabilitation of Latta Bridge [10].
Council meets in its chambers at 169 Front St. from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday afternoon. More to come.
