Tyler Allsopp grew up in Belleville and plans to stay here. He’s one of the youngest councillor candidates at 21 years old. Despite his age, Allsopp said he has accomplished a lot.

He graduated from St. Lawrence College in Business and Marketing and is co-owner of Doug’s Bicycle in Belleville.

Allsopp said this is his first go at politics but he’s always taken an interest in the community. He also said he feels Belleville’s youth are being underrepresented and would like to change that.

“I want to champion young perspective and bring young people out to the polls,” he said.
