Terry Cassidy

Terry Cassidy has been a councilor in Quinte West for the past 23 years, except for two years from 2001-2003 when he ran for mayor but did not get elected. Terry moved to the area in 1985 to be director of social services for Hastings County. Eighteen years ago, he started a not-for-profit organization called “Community Partners for Success” where he continues to work as an executive director. Terry’s political platform revolves around increasing job opportunities for youth, protecting the environment, holding council accountable, and improving Quinte West’s public transport system. He would also like to have better engagement between the public and council. He is 65 years old.
