Guest speaker at local mental health branch meeting

BELLEVILLE – A staff member from the Quinte Health Care’s Assertive Community Treatment Team, will be sharing a personal story about mental health tonight.

Gloria Bentley will be speaking as part of the annual meeting of the Canadian Mental Health Association- Hastings and Prince Edward branch.

ACCT provides specialized care and programs for people with long term mental illness, across the province.

Catherine Walker, manager of communication and community relations for Quinte Health Care, said that the local ACCT serves roughly 100 people.

QNet News will be attending the meeting at the Maurice Rollins Centre of Hope.
