Stirling man dead after motorcycle crash on Highway 7

BELLEVILLE –  A 68-year-old Stirling man is dead after a fatal crash between a vehicle and motorcycle Sunday on Highway 7.

Douglas Ray of Stirling-Rawdon Township was driving west on his motorcycle when he was hit by a female driver travelling eastbound on the highway. Police say the woman was attempting to turn left on Sama Park Road.

The accident took place east of the village of Havelock shortly before noon.

The female driver of the vehicle was treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
