BELLEVILLE – A 76-year-old Wellington man was taken to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a pickup truck around 5:30 Tuesday evening.

Police say the man walked out between two parked vehicles on Main Street Wellington near East Street and was hit by a pickup traveling westbound.

The 63-year-old driver of the pickup was not injured in the incident.

The OPP say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP Provincial Communications Centre or Crime Stoppers.
