Fight at Belleville nightclub followed by two arrests

BELLEVILLE – Police arrested two 20-year-old men after a fight broke out on North Front Street early Thursday night.

Belleville police report that they broke up a large fight at a nightclub around 2:30 a.m., dispersing the crowd.

About 30 minutes later, officers found two men causing problems on Tracey Street. A Brighton and a Trenton man, both in their 20s, were were charged with public intoxication.

Const. Rene Aubertin declined to identify the nightclub where the fight broke out or to say whether the two incidents were related.
