BELLEVILLE – An 18-year-old Tudor and Cashel Township man died Thursday morning in an accident on Highway 62 in northern Hastings County.

The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. in Limerick Township – about one hour north of Belleville. Bancroft OPP say they were alerted to it by emergency medical services.

James Keller was driving a pickup truck of which he was the sole occupant when it went off the road and into a rock cut, police say. Keller was pronounced dead at the scene.

The highway was partially closed for several hours while the investigation continued. It reopened around 1 p.m.
