Man charged with assault

BELLEVILLE – Police have charged a man with assault and carrying a dangerous weapon after a domestic disturbance early Wednesday morning.

Belleville police said they received the 911 call at 1:22 a.m. for help with a domestic disturbance on Dunnett Blvd..

The man was arrested and charged with one count each of assault, possessing a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.

He will appear in bail court on December 6.
