By Trish Bauder

BELLEVILLE – Dozens of paramedics from several communities  including Belleville are protesting against changes to emergency care at Queen’s Park Tuesday.

Paramedics say Bill 160 opens the door to a parallel, fire-department based paramedic system.

The legislation is scheduled to have its third and final reading in the legislature on Tuesday.

More to come.
