Shoplifter arrested in north Belleville

BELLEVILLE – Belleville police dealt with an incident that occurred Wednesday evening.

A 35-year-old man from Warkworth was arrested for shoplifting at a business in the north end of Belleville.

The man was charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of counterfeit money.

He will appear in provincial court Jan. 25.
