Quinte West man charged with multiple cases of sexual assault

BELLEVILLE – A Quinte West man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault.

Prince Edward County OPP say they received allegations last month of sexual assault of several people of varying ages. As a result of their investigation, a 41-year-old Quinte West man has been charged with:

  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
  • Sexual interference
  • Invitation to sexual touching on a person under 16 years of age
  • Sexual exploitation.

The man is to appear in court in Picton on Jan. 17. Police say they will not release his name to protect the alleged victims.
