Quinte Health Care announces interim chief of staff

BELLEVILLE – Dr. Colin MacPherson has been appointed interim chief of staff at Quinte Health Care.
He will officially take over on April 22, when Dr. Dick Zoutman leaves the position. The announcement came during QHC’s board meeting on Tuesday.
An external search company was hired to find the permanent chief of staff. That process will take six to nine months.
Dr. MacPherson has been with the QHC since 2011 and currently serves as a chief/director of psychiatry.
Dr. Zoutman has been a chief of staff at QHC for six years. He will take a new role as a chief of staff of the newly amalgamated Scarborough Rouge Hospital.
