Domestic spat leads to charges in Belleville

BELLEVILLE – Police responded to a domestic assault incident Sunday in Belleville.

Belleville Police say  they responded to a call at 4 p.m. on Wilkens Street.

They say they spoke to the two adults in their 20s who had both been injured in a fight between the two of them.

They were both arrested, and each was charged with assault. They were released on the promise to appear in court.
