Police warning in Picton

  • April 16, 2018 at 1:20 pm

By Becky McMullen

BELLEVILLE — Police in Prince Edward County are sending a warning out about a company approaching businesses to purchase ad space at the local Sobeys.

Police say the company, Dynamic Local Productions, is approaching businesses and attempting to sell advertisement space on magnets at the cash registers at Sobeys.  They say they’ve been sent by “Jamie” from Sobeys.

According to Constable Patrick Menard from Prince Edward OPP, Sobeys has no affiliation with Dynamic Local Productions.

Police were tipped off on April 12 by Picton Business Improvement Association.

Business owners are being asked to notify police if they are approached.
