Loyalist students finish semester after faculty strike

  • May 8, 2018 at 9:50 am

By David Tuan Bui

BELLEVILLE – Loyalist College students can relax for the summer after finishing a semester in which many had to play catch-up because of last fall’s faculty strike.

Once the strike ended in November, students had a compressed learning schedule to make up for the five weeks of classes they had lost. The winter semester, the start of which was pushed back to late January because of the strike, was reduced from the normal 14 weeks to 12.

QNet News is talking to students about how their shortened semester went and how the strike affected them generally.

More to come.
