BELLEVILLE — A woman, driving without a valid licence, is facing charges after a hit and run incident Tuesday.

Belleville Police said there was an accident at the corner Bell Boulevard and Sydney Street for the second time that day.

The first the accident was a minor collision, police said. The second involved two cars, where one fled the scene. Paramedic were called and one person was treated for injuries, police said.

The driver of the other car fled. Police found the driver following an investigation.

Police said the 24-year-old Belleville woman was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm, being an unlicensed driver and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
