BELLEVILLE – Quinte West and the Trenton Golden Hawks [2] will host a prestige junior-league hockey tournament for the second year in a row.
The Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge will be held at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens [3] from Nov. 19 to 21.
Last year the arena was host to the Ontario Junior Hockey League Winter Showcase [4] as well as the Dudley-Hewitt Cup [5].
The all-star challenge is one of the premier Junior A hockey events in the country.
Twelve all-star teams compete in a tournament with four OJHL [6] teams and two teams from the Central Canada Hockey League [7], Quebec Junior Hockey League [8], Maritime Hockey League [9] and the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League [10]. There are 21 games in total.
