Belleville police investigate theft from vehicle

BELLEVILLE – Police are on the lookout for those involved in a theft from a motor vehicle late Monday afternoon.

Just before 6 p.m., police received a call about a theft of property from a parked car on Dundas Street West.

Police say the female victim returned to her car and found that her wallet, containing cash, credit and banking cards and personal identification, was gone.

Police say that some of the cards stolen were used at different locations and businesses after the alleged theft.

Those with information are asked to contact Quinte Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
