Man injures self near Belleville casino

  • October 30, 2018 at 10:28 am

By Ludwick Chapman

BELLEVILLE – A man upset with his luck at the Shorelines Casino led to police being called to investigate.

Police responded to calls Monday afternoon after reports of a man inside his vehicle smashing his head against his steering wheel in the North Front Street and Bell Boulevard area. Witnesses say he did this until he bled.

Police found the man inside his vehicle in an area around Station Street and Brown Street a short time later. The man told police that his lack of luck at the casino was the cause of his behaviour.

Police say that despite his injuries, the man refused any medical attention and left the scene without any further incident.
