OPP drug investigation leads to four arrests across the region

BELLEVILLE – A co-operative effort among police across the region have led to numerous drug-related charges against four people.

Following an investigation involving OPP officers from the area as well as the Belleville police, warrants were issued in Picton, Belleville and Centre Hastings.

After the searches, police arrested a 40-year-old man from Belleville, a 41-year-old woman from Picton, a 54-year-old man from Stirling-Rawdon and a 29-year-old man from Milford. They are all in police custody with a total of 26 different charges.

Among other things, the police seized around eight ounces of cocaine with a cocaine press, two non-restricted firearms with ammunition, methamphetamine, oxycodone pills, four loaded syringes, five cellular phones, a debts list and $1,285.
