Belleville’s new councillors receive orientation Tuesday

BELLEVILLE – Belleville’s city councillors-elect will be receiving their first of six orientation sessions Tuesday.

The session will be open to the public and run from 9 a.m. until noon, after which they’ll get tours of city departments.

It will take place on the third floor of city hall in the Sir Mackenzie Bowell Room.

Two more sessions will be held Thursday and Friday, then the remaining three will occur Nov. 22, 23 and 27.

The new council and mayor will be sworn in Dec. 1.
