BELLEVILLE – A Statistics Canada report [2] reveals that Ontario produces more garbage than any other province in Canada. But how are we doing here in Quinte?
QNet News will be speaking with Quinte Waste Solutions [3] this week to find out how well the Quinte region recycles and what can be done to improve.
Quinte Waste Solutions’ website offers a sorting guide [4] on how to properly recycle items into blue boxes on collection day.
This week there is also a battery bag collection [5], where residents can recycle their dead household batteries in a resealable clear bag on their collection day until Friday.
