Loyalist College’s Applied Research Centre receives grant

BELLEVILLE – Loyalist College has been awarded $150,000 that will go toward its Applied Research Centre for Natural Products and Medical Cannabis.

The money is coming from the federal government’s College and Community Innovation Program through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.

The money will help with purchasing research equipment, to enhance the centre’s capacity to respond to industry and support innovation, according to the college.
