Man killed in three-vehicle crash near Madoc

BELLEVILLE – A 39-year-old Gilmour man died following a three-vehicle crash on Highway 62 Friday afternoon.

The collision happened about 1 p.m. south of Madoc between Quin-Mo-Lac Road and Springbrook Road, according to the Central Hastings OPP.

Several people were taken to Belleville General Hospital while the Gilmour man was taken to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries. He died there, police say.

The investigation is ongoing.
