21-year-old man charged with stunt driving

BELLEVILLE – A 21-year-old man was charged with stunt driving on Tuesday.

Belleville police say that around noon, an officer clocked a vehicle on Old Highway 2 going 127 kilometres per hour in a 60-kilometre zone.

The vehicle was seized for seven days and the driver’s licence was suspended for a week.

The driver will appear in traffic court on Dec. 3.
