BELLEVILLE – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Pioneer gas station in the village of Marmora Monday night.

The man entered the Matthew Street store demanding money, then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Centre Hastings OPP. Police got the call at 8:20 p.m.

He is described as white, about five feet five inches tall, between 30 and 40 years old, with a thin build, a clean-shaven face and light-coloured hair. He was wearing a white toque with a red band around it, a black winter coat and black pants.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Hastings OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122. They can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 if they want to remain anonymous.
